R.I.P. James Gandolfini Edition

I had a blog that was all ready to be written and posted tonight. But then something happened that trumps all. In case you haven't heard, actor James Gandolfini passed away this evening. He was on vacation in Italy when he suffered a fatal heart attack. Gandolfini was fifty one years old.

As an actor he appeared in fifty-one movies, but he will mostly remembered for his portrayal of Tony Soprano on the HBO Series, The Sopranos. He won a Golden Globe in 2000 for the role. He also won 3 Primetime Emmy awards for the role over the course of the series.

He appeared in several movies with the likes of Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Nicolas Cage and Billy Bob Thornton. His last major role was in The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.

James Gandolfini has even appeared on Broadway in A Streetcar named Desire co-starring Alec Baldwin.

I think it's safe to say this song will forever be tied to him thanks to the last scene of the Sopranos.

Rest In Peace: James Gandolfini

As always special thanks to my wonderful Editor!
